Textures and patterns are usually found in web design, especially in the background to support the overall design. Undoubtedly using patterns and textures to replace a standard background color can create more inviting atmosphere. But they need to fit to the overall design which make the content easier to perceive.

There are numbers of options we can choose for our texture web design. E.g. fabric patterns, tiles, ground, stone, walls, bricks, stiches, cardboard, ceramics, decay, rust, old tapes, illustrations, plastic and glass. And of course, the most common one, is wood.

In this post, I will present you a showcase of sites using various textures and patterns.
